In an recent interview with Variety she told that this album feels like her sophomore album. “It’s my second ‘big girl’ album; it’s a companion to Emails but it’s not the same,” she explained. “When it comes to having full creative control and being a full-fledged adult, I would consider this a sophomore album.” Along with album Carpenter also dropped the thriller-inspired music video for “Taste,” starring Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega.

In an recent interview Shabina explained about her transition from 'Emails I Can't Send' to 'Short n' Sweet', she explained "It was the most effortless transition when it came to how life feels after you are finally starting to heal and how things start feeling a little bit lighter and you start finding the humor in things again, you start liking people again and falling in love again and then you remember that you're really pissed at someone. It's just like there's all of those feelings in this album that make it so special to me"

3. Dumb & Poetic 

This song feels like Sabrina herself took my diary and wrote the song, sad lyrics with soft melody just a perfect song to feel your emotions and cry while watching moon from your balcony. "You're so sad, there's no communication But, baby, you put us in this situation" 

4. Don't Smile

The very first line of the song "Don't smile because it happened, baby, cry because it's over" just gives you the whole meaning of the song.
